Juan Montesinos

Dr. Juan I. Montesinos, Chief of Staff at Miletus Biotechnology, is an accomplished biotechnology executive and serial entrepreneur with deep experience in company creation, operational leadership, program management, and international partnerships. With over a decade of expertise in regulatory affairs for medical devices and advanced therapy medicinal products, he successfully bridges scientific innovation and commercial execution.

Dr. Montesinos holds multiple leadership positions across the biotechnology ecosystem. As Co-Founder and COO of Black Canyon Bio, he participates in the development of novel precision medicine technologies for cancer treatment. He serves as Vice President of Operations at Noble Life Sciences and Managing Partner of Kamino Global, LLC. Additionally, he provides strategic consulting through BR BioAdvisory at Brown Rudnick LLP, supporting biotech and pharma clients alongside the firm's Global Life Sciences Legal team.

Previously, Dr. Montesinos was Senior Director of Business Development at Innoforce Pharmaceuticals, where he led strategic partnerships and transactions, closing one acquisition and three partnership deals. He evaluated opportunities while leading multidisciplinary teams through due diligence projects in oncology, cardiovascular, and rare diseases. He also developed internal partnering opportunity evaluation tools and implemented an Entrepreneur-In-Residence Program.

Earlier in his career, Dr. Montesinos held senior regulatory positions at MCRA, where he conducted due diligence for biopharmaceutical transactions and developed regulatory documentation for FDA submissions. He co-founded Acitrón Media, a digital publishing and technology development company in his native Mexico.

Dr. Montesinos earned his Doctor of Medicine from Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM) and his Master of Biotechnology in Enterprise and Entrepreneurship from Johns Hopkins University. He is a CONACYT Scholar and a Mexico’s Ministry of Education Scholar.
